Participants can pitch topics, explore shared interests, and form small teams. Teams formed during the session can apply for a free spot in the Carpentries Collaborative Lesson Development Training (CLDT) via the DC4NES project!You’re equally welcome to join without a pitch - this is also a space to learn what others are working on and find ways to contribute.Lunch:We’ll provide a lunch buffet with sandwiches, wraps, and fresh juice. Coffee, tea, fruit, and snacks will be available throughout the day.Afternoon Session:This interactive workshop supports research software trainers in strengthening their use of Open Educational Resources (OER).Using the 5R framework (Retain, Reuse, Revise, Remix, Redistribute), participants will work with a range of open programming resources - beyond the Carpentries - including open curricula, interactive platforms, executable environments and real world open research software artefacts. Through hands-on, collaborative activities, you’ll evaluate, adapt, and combine materials to design learning experiences for your own training context.
